When creating camp recipes, the goal is to have minimal prep and cleanup on site. There are only a couple of guidelines I TRY to follow. One, try not to require refrigeration. Two, only require on pot or pan. Again, these are guidelines, not hard set rules. Any recipes or item marked with a ❄ will require cold storage.
Here are a couple simple tips to make prep work easier:
Travel sized mouthwash bottles are great for storing oils.
Pre-measure your seasonings and combine them into a small Ziploc bag.
Freezer bags can be boiled. If you can cook in the bag, there is less cleanup.
Beef jerky can be rehydrated, so get creative with it at home.
Tortillas are a great substitute for bread. Takes up less space and you don't have to worry as much about it getting crushed.
Powdered milk to water ratio is 1:3.
For condiments, stop at a fast food restaurant. For variety, my favorite place for condiment packets is Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, followed by Chick-fil-A.

Crack your egg and put them in the Ziploc bag.

Remove as much air from the bag as possible and place the bag in the boiling water for 13 minutes.
After the 13 minutes is up, pull the bag from the boiling water. Open it and let it cool for a minute.
Grab a fork and enjoy.
BONUS: Add a tortilla and some salsa for breakfast taquitos.
The concept is simple. Combine ground beef and veggies into a foil packet and cook. There is no limit to your creativity. Below is just a recipe that is a personal favorite. Even if it is cooked well done, it still turns out amazing. If you use a campfire to cook them make sure you remember tongs to pull them out.
Ingredients
1/3 Pound Ground Beef
1 Tablespoon Bread Crumbs
2 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
Salt - To taste
Pepper - To taste
Seasoning Salt - To taste
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
¼ Cup of Diced Bell Peppers and Onion
½ Cup of Diced Potatoes
Instructions
Simply combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
Place contents onto aluminum foil and wrap making sure all edges are sealed.
At this point you can freeze them if you are preparing them ahead of time.
Set the pouch in hot coals or on a grill for about 20 minutes, flipping them half way through.
Crack open the pouch to let it cool and enjoy.
